Hitting the Knitting Road...
And I mean literally! Over the past few months, I have been traveling across the country (and to Ontario) to visit a number of yarn companies we know and love. My traveling partner is Doreen Connors, our director of advertising sales. We often joke that after working together for the past eleven years, we’ve logged more miles with each other than we have with anyone else in our lives. It’s been quite the adventure—driving in blinding blizzards and pouring rain, gale-force winds rocking the car. We’ve been lost more than once, were rear-ended outside Portland, Oregon, and narrowly escaped a $10,000 speeding fine on a lonely Ontario back road.
