Live Chat Transcript

[Alexandra Þ]: When will the autem issue come to stores?

[Alexandra Þ]: Will you have international subscriptions in the furure?

[Terry]: As an interior designer and avid knitter I was wondering why there isn't more "Designer" home decor projects? Thanks,Terry

[hotdochhi]: Good Morning! i am an avid machine knitter, and with the large influx of new machine knitters, wonder when Vogueknitting will create some wonderful MK patterns?

[Luise Roberts]: Love the magazines and many of the books. Will any of them be available on Kindle or similar devices.

[trisha]: Hi, welcome to my live chat! I wanted to start by answering some of the questions that were emailed to me before today. The fall/autumn issue is on sale August 5th - but subscribers will get their copies before that! If you aren't a subscriber, this is a great reason to become one! We have worked out a deal for International subs now. You can visit http://www.thegmcgroup.com/ and click on magazines. It's not quite up yet but should be very soon. The magazine has a different name and cover image for international copies - but the same great patterns are inside.

[SJM]: I am trying to knit a pansy sweater from VK in th 1980's that calls for a 6/inch gauge, but want to use Cotton Classic that only does 5/inch on 4.5.or 6 needles. Just go down a pattern size?

[ElizabethN]: Could you summarize the projects on the fall issue?

[bdiane]: Is there a preview of what is in the Fall issue somewhere ?

[trisha]: We love interior design projects - but they are hard to find. Look in the holiday issue (10/14) for a fabulous vase cover by Nicky Epstein. Also, we are always looking for new ideas and designs, so feel free to send some to us if you have them.

[EileenG]: I'd probably increase the needle size to get the right guage. Make sure you do a large enough swatch, at least 6x6 inches.

[sheila b]: can you set the chat comments to have a line space between each one?

[trisha]: Just to quickly finish earlier questions - no - we will not be doing machine knits - but feel free to convert our pattern yourself. And we are in the process of talking to companies about our books going digital.

[EileenG]: A line between would be very helpful, or maybe alternating colors.

[trisha]: Eileen is right - don't start until you are really sure about the gauge

[sheila b]: how fair-isel knitterly!

[trisha]: bdiane - there will be a fashion preview on our site next week - so come back then! The highlights are some great mittens, lots of cardis, and a wonderful Canadian design section.

[EileenG]: I am going to take a fair isle class in october at Stitches East. Any advice on some "homework" or something that I should do first? Any good books anyone recommends?

[bdiane]: Lucky you Eileen! I am green.

[trisha]: I think you should start practising working with both hands if you have not mastered that already.

[trisha]: Look in the VK book and there are instructions there, or most color work books have some too.

[bdiane]: I really like doing it with the new bobbins that are out that look like grammie's hair curlers

[trisha]: I love those too!

[bdiane]: And Clover makes a great thimble on your finger to separate the yarns

[bdiane]: I adore working intarsia

[bdiane]: and fair isle

[lilli]: So what new trends are in store this fall in yarn?

[EileenG]: Thanks! I'm going to start as soon as I finish the baby blanket i'm doing.

[EileenG]: Last year brown was the "in" color. What's going to be new in colors this year?

[bdiane]: I will be grateful to get thicker yarns; working on a christening blanket right now on super light cobweb lace and size 00 needles

[trisha]: Someone also asked if the Fall issue was a green theme because of the cover mittens. No - not at all! When we choose a cover it is from a group of from 4-6 covers. We choose the one that has the most visual impact on the newsstand - consumers usually give a cover 3 seconds - so it really needs to stand out from the crowd with either the image or teh coverlines

[bdiane]: Is tweed hot again?

[trisha]: In terms of trends - the big color this year is gray. There are more knits in traditional yarns rather than novelties. The novelties tend to be more traditional too - like boucles etc.

[denise]: are there more knit in the round (fronts and back on one needle) designs? Are designers moving to that construction method...saves so much time and effort when you cut back on seaming.

[trisha]: Tweed is def. big right now - a traditonal yarn with a little interest

[bdiane]: I am soooooooooo glad;sick of seeing eyelash

[EileenG]: Agreed!

[trisha]: I think a lot of people like to knit in the round, but it depends on the design and the knit fabric

[trisha]: some designs need the structure of seams to make them fit well.

[bdiane]: I really like designs side to side and hardly any seams

[bdiane]: but I am mostly the WRAP queen; almost all are that

[trisha]: Side by side is great too - and really fun to knit. I like combo garments too with some of each - a lot of structural interest is very cool

[Deb]: How hard is it to make the pattern round even if its to be sew. I have a greman friend who make all her sweaters in the round

[trisha]: A lot are - and wraps fit every BODY!!!

[bdiane]: you guys did great on the side to side cardigan

[bdiane]: That way nothing goes out of style and I change the clothing under it

[trisha]: It's not too hard - just a little math. The sleeves can be a little tricky though.

[trisha]: Again - it won't work for a ll designs.

[denise]: I like the multi directional constuction that is in so many new designs. Makes knitting fun and interesting.

[bdiane]: gives me the power to really buy good expensive yarns because I know they will not go out of style

[marcia k]: would like to see more thin yarns for beautiful fitted patterns with long sleeves and cuffs etc. I have also included in my sweaters ribbons placed in the design between stitches beautiful

[trisha]: If there is a sleeve depth in the underarm of more that 1 1/2" then you should not pick the sleeves up and knit down - they won't work.

[trisha]: Yes re wraps! They last forever - and are great for travelling too!

[bdiane]: That is very interesting Trisha; guess I was not imagining that then

[trisha]: Glad you liked the sideways cardi - I have seen so many knit up now!

[bdiane]: I also make rectangular mostly

[bdiane]: that way no one asks if I am going to the prom!!! If you are a lacer , you have to be careful

[betsy p]: What are this fall's trends in ready-to-wear that translate well into hand knits?

[trisha]: The ribbon idea sounds lovely! There is a trend back to smaller guage knitting - look for the designer pieces in the Fall issue - there are 2 that are fine and beautiful

[bdiane]: I made two Trisha for gifts but made it so we did not need big buttons

[denise]: Are any of the new designs geared to bustier bodies? Lots of the designs in fashion now hang straight from the shoulders.....not a good look with a chest.

[trisha]: Agree re the bust. I have the same problem!

[Phi]: I would like a good mix of quick to knit (not necessarily easy) as in one piece knitting and more elaborate pieces.

[Phi]: Would you bring more Alice Starmore designs?

[trisha]: Cardigans work really well for larger busts - there are several in the next isue that are great - but don't choose a cropped style

[Phi]: Starmore updated to the 21st century, too many of her pieces are boxy

[bdiane]: any chance of lace in the issue?

[Phi]: When will the preview be on the web site?

[trisha]: We had a design from Alice last year - and we can try to get another. Will see what I can do!

[ElizabethN]: what about hooded cardis?

[Phi]: O thanks, Trisha

[denise]: Have you considered an article on when you can convert a design to knit in the round (or all on one needle) and when you shouldn't? I hear designers say they need the seams - but I don't really see why in some designs. Would be interesting to hear when and why I should stick with the seams.

[trisha]: I like fast and easy too - but with interest. My fave is the seed stitch cardi in the fall issue by Cathy Carron.

[Phi]: An Alice Starmore hooded cardi, that would be fantastic

[trisha]: We have a great hooded sweater in Fall that has a stunning cable. Would be easy to convert to a cardi if you wanted.

[sheilab]: seed stich cardi sounds very enticing!

[Linda Ewen]: Any room for mother/daughter (toddler) patterns?

[Phi]: I only tolerate seams if it adds structural strength or visual interest

[trisha]: That is a good idea for an article - thanks!

[ElizabethN]: I just subscribe 2 min ago...can't wait to get my first issue

[Phi]: Yes, I planned to do that but how about a Fair Isle hoodie?

[trisha]: We'll see if we get any submissions in.

[Phi]: I'm a subscriber since the first issue in the late 80's so I guess I saw all the varieties

[sheilab]: curious: how many VK subscribers are there?

[bdiane]: any new knitting books coming up Trisha? There were a LOT for a while but nothing lately

[bdiane]: ME as a subscriber

[trisha]: We tend to do toddlers in KnitSimple - our sister publication, our surveys tell is VK readers want women's fashion more than anything.

[sheilab]: VK goes back to the 1940s, I think.

[trisha]: Thanks for subscribing!!!!

[Linda Ewen]: I'm pretty certain I have some VK from the 50's

[bdiane]: I have one from 1954

[Knittin-gimp]: I have personally ofund that when I have converted some patterns to knitting in one piece, the structure was not as strong and the sweater drooped at the sides. Sometimes they are just a very necessary evil. Look closely at the pattern and you generally can tell if they are needed for added structure.

[trisha]: There are over 60,000 subs!!!!! Our fave readers!

[bdiane]: My the guys wore tight sweaters then

[ElizabethN]: I bought some issues here & there, but this is my first time subscribing

[bdiane]: It is the best idea Elizabeth; they come long before the stores

[ElizabethN]: :)

[Phi]: There were a lot of books, for sure, but many are not good. How about one on great coats, working cardis that subs for the jackets and look great in office

[trisha]: In terms of books - you can visit the bookstore on the vksite.

[bdiane]: And thanks for bagging them by the way; I know it is a bother but this way the PO does not chew them up

[sheilab]: wow. and with newsstand, you probably are over the 100K mark. Makes me happy to know there are so many people enjoying/sharing this very wonderful interest!

[trisha]: Personally I think there are too many knitting books out there - I mean who needs another knitted cell phone cover pattern!!!!!!!

[bdiane]: I do not need any of those books

[trisha]: I fought hard for bagging - it costs a lot - but so worth it!

[bdiane]: I like the high design books

[trisha]: We are well over 200k - think of all the yarn stores and book stores!

[sheilab]: amen. . . My favorite new book is A Fine Fleece by Linda Lloyd. Classics but with a twist (pun; sorry).

[Linda Ewen]: More knit from the top?

[Phi]: IYes! Hi design, that's what vogue is gr8 4

[Deb]: I just order the summer/winter issue because it have some very nice shaws to make.

[trisha]: There is a new Cathy Carron knit from teh top book - photos are not great but the designs are.

[bdiane]: Knitting on top of the world is good

[sheilab]: those are impressive circ numbers in today's market

[lisa]: Does any else find that their tastes have changed over the years? I love looking at my old copies of VK and finding things that appeal to me now that didn't used to!

[trisha]: We have an amazing book coming - it's Nicky Epstein's Knitting on top of the world!!!!!

[bdiane]: Yes that is the one

[BuffaloGuy]: I am looking forward to that one.. Nicky is awesome

[trisha]: thanks sheila - we work hard on them both from an editorial and a circulation standpoint.

[Phi]: How do u knit from the top, getting on top of a ladder or the skyscraper ? (Just kidding!)

[trisha]: The designs in this book are amazing.

[trisha]: Very funny!

[sheilab]: Lisa, I'm more the opposite. My tastes have not morphed all that much, And Trish, as you might have surmised--I am in the magazine business--with National Geographic. On vacation!!

[Phi]: When do we get a preview of Nicky's book? Does she ever sleep?

[BuffaloGuy]: do have a video of a guy knitting with giant excavators... guess that could be the top?

[trisha]: We also have a great book about using color - called ColorSense

[marcia k]: I have designed two different yarns and patterns in sweaters and dresses and with beads etc. can somebody get in touch with me on my email and would love to know about creating for you...I have been knitting for 50 years...thank you..I can send pics

[trisha]: Ah - thought you might be - I admire Nat Geog so much - I used to be a geography teacher!!!!

[sheilab]: I'm with NG Traveler. The Society is a great place to work. A geo teacher! A tough and important role!

[bdiane]: I would love to see a preview from the book

[Linda Ewen]: What about a tips and tricks column?

[BuffaloGuy]: You were at the Maryland show Sheila? I think we met in the WF booth?

[BuffaloGuy]: your magazine is wonderful

[trisha]: You can visit our site http://www.vogueknitting.com/node/363 and get the answer! We always want new designs!!!!

[trisha]: KOG - we are not publishing them any more....:(

[trisha]: The original concept was for lay flat but then the publisher could not do it....

[Linda Ewen]: Would you ever consider a digital edition?

[sheilab]: BG: Yes! We met ag the Wild Fibers booth!!! GREETINGS!

[Phi]: Can VK manage to put a web page on the kits/yarn source/etc... for at least the current designs or a page with all the current designs with the yarn specifications, requirements , gauge, needle size, size,

[trisha]: That is a good idea - we might just do that - thanks!

[Phi]: it will make easy to choose a project,

[funkycrochetdiva]: Hi Trisha,

[BuffaloGuy]: that would be great... Phi.. just a reference point on the yarns

[trisha]: Well.... a little problematic - we want you to BUY the magazine!!!!!

[trisha]: We will be including yarn names in future though

[funkycrochetdiva]: I knit and crochet and I was wondering in Vogue Knitting ever needs crocheted hats?

[bdiane]: I want to thank you for the yarn samples in the mag

[sheilab]: Yes, the challenge is to comlement what is in the magazine! We don't repeat and content on our site.

[trisha]: Not really.... But we know a great crochet mag that is always looking for new designs - crochettoday.com

[Phi]: crochet diva, There a VK on the go on crocheted hats

[Phi]: Sorry, trisha, crochet today does not do it 4 me, not hi fashion as VK

[trisha]: No.... I know....

[bdiane]: Actually the show a lot in the industry ; I am not big on it though

[Phi]: we want a mini crochet version of VK inside VK, how about VC (not Viet Cong)

[bdiane]: I actually bought a hairpin lace took because of

[bdiane]: VK

[trisha]: We also had someone asking us about lace knitting - we love lace here too - and while in the Fall issue it's more of an accent, you will see some lovely pieces going forward. A fab shawl in Holiday - and next Spring will be full of it!

[bdiane]: When I won a prize last year on my herringbone stole lined, I won a whole trunk of ribbon yarn

[sheilab]: excellent!

[Phi]: May be consider 4-5 pages each issue, just like sometimes last year there was a gr8 crochet dress from a designer for resort wear and a top

[trisha]: We did a VC years ago and it did not sell well enough to do again :(

[trisha]: We include crochet whenever we find something really stunning (like the dress) or the lovely lilac cardi we did a few issues ago.

[funkycrochetdiva]: I think that if you tried the VC again it would do alot better this time around since crochet has a lot more popularity now.

[Phi]: What I have not seen and a lot of lace addicts may love to see is some great lace designs for home or wear in the spirit of Herbert Niebling of Germany (deceased) from the old Burda magazines. May be Sharon Miller from gr8 britain should be recruited or Sharon Winsauer of the USA

[tonisiny]: I am always looking for kids' patterns, especially 'tween girls, up to size 12-14? There is a dearth of these sizes in the marketplace, truly. And most of them are not fashionable enough for my little new yorker! Any plans for this?

[sheilab]: maybe this is where the website comes in. . .

[trisha]: I love thick lace. Is beautiful and looks so fresh.

[Linda Ewen]: I do not want to see any crochet.

[funkycrochetdiva]: How do you find these crochet items since you are a knitting mag?

[sheilab]: love thick lace too!

[trisha]: People send them us too.

[bdiane]: Here is an idea you likely know about but many of us lacers are doing patterns in thicker yarns

[Phi]: Well, Trisha may be just one very gr8 crochet design, drop dead gorgeous to tempt the unnitiated, purist crowd

[Knittin-gimp]: Luv the reviews you do on yarn/books. Thanks for those.

[bdiane]: No crochet for me either

[sjm]: We loved your anniversary issue and the patterns to download. Knit the cape, which was fun but the yarn suggested did stretch some. Many compliments on the cape!

[Andrea S]: Any plans to have a dedicated summer issue? It is too long to wait between March-August for a new issue.

[funkycrochetdiva]: I love seeing knitting and crochet I guess that is just the artist in me personally:).

[marcia k]: If I remember you had many lace knitting pieces, and many shawls featured in one issue and more over the past two years...too many and since some people including myself do not make shawls, I think the issues should have other items, you mentioned many of them in spring issue...we have so many patterns already thank you

[trisha]: Re tweens - we find that they usually don't want to wear knits so much. How about making her a blanket that she can keep forever? or you can use a VK pattern in extra small (some of the Twinkle designs might be good for her)

[EmDee]: Hi, late to the party, sorry.

[Phi]: I could do survey and get the ave % to see one could please the mass: K or C, or both?

[ginelou]: no crochet for me either

[tonisiny]: Tweens -- she is just getting to that size, got about another year to go on chest size until she hits a woman's extra-small. Speaking of sizes, how about more XL's and 1X's?

[bdiane]: What designers from Canada are featured?

[EmDee]: Chiming in with prefer no crochet in VK.

[trisha]: I love the cape too.

[EmDee]: Re: Tweens - mine likes the Knit.1 pattern books

[Phi]: People could think the same about knitting 4 children/tweens/men/home etc... b/c some people never knit for any of these groups. That's the problem with diversity

[tonisiny]: chiming too: I am an advanced crocheter, have been all my life, knitting came later -- I like to keep them separate as well, except for occasional crochet trim on certain knits.

[trisha]: From Canada we have Mags Kandis, Robin Melanson, Svetlana Avrakh, Veronik Avery, Fiona Ellis, Mae Landra, Lucy Neatby, Gail Bunn.

[Phi]: Or, may be VK could unvent a Crochet.2, 2 b/c some designs for young, some for older (bodies, not spirit)

[bdiane]: Wow; going to be delicious

[tonisiny]: Buffalo guy is right! She does not see herself in the magazine....

[trisha]: And a great article from Shirl the Purl on Elizabeth Zimmerman.

[sheilab]: ooo weee!

[Linda Ewen]: I always enjoy when you show an old VK pattern which has been updated.

[Phi]: Yes, Trisha, all those designers are gr8

[bdiane]: wonderful issue

[Phi]: Could you tempt Lucy Neatby to do a column on tips? She's such a great teacher or Jean Wong on knitting Japanese.

[trisha]: We also have an article about what's going on over the northern border - knitting has stayed very strong in Canada.

[Phi]: Please, an article about knitting Japanese, with glossaries

[BuffaloGuy]: That is the one of the best parts of VK, the stable of amazing designers

[trisha]: Good ideas - I am jotting them down here! Thanks!!!!!

[EmDee]: what are the main looks for sweaters and jackets being featured in this issue?

[Knittin-gimp]: Can't wait to see you guys up here in Cananda this fall.

[trisha]: You can always email me with ideas - I love to hear new and intereting takes on knitting

[trisha]: You can select editorial comment in the drop down menu on our contact page.

[Kyle]: I think the quality of designs is to keep it as simple as possible for even the newbies but showing how color, buttoms, finishing makes them unique would be great - I find that the patterns I always go for are the ones I can actually finish and make over and over but look different every time.

[trisha]: That's true - many people have a favorite that they keep redoing.

[Kyle]: so the standby scarf, shawl, purse, what an issue that would be

[bdiane]: I never do anything for myself twice

[trisha]: The main looks coming up are for longer and looser knits, and lots of cable interest.

[Linda Ewen]: An issue devoted mainly to standards would be great.

[bdiane]: ohhhhhh cables; love that

[trisha]: It would. Good idea!

[Linda Ewen]: I also enjoy when you show old patterns updated.

[Phi]: Oh, another idea, Trish, an article about buttons. Now, there is a book out there about handmade buttons, crochet, embroidered, ...and a while ago in VK on buttonholes, but may be an updated version to see if there are new ideas?

[funkycrochetdiva]: So what colors are popular this fall/winter?

[EmDee]: I look to VK for my more fashion forward knits, as well as the classics

[trisha]: Also the designers this issue are great! There is a Twinkle dress that is stunning, and 2 pieces from James Coviello. My fave is a Rebecca Taylor lace detailed cardi that is just amazing.

[sheilab]: go ahead, make my day!

[EmDee]: ooh, looking forward to Coviello!

[Kyle]: I have one raglan sweater pattern I've used for kids, adults, oversized with different color pockets, buttons, collars -

[bdiane]: Yes lace from Taylor; way to go

[trisha]: She is a great designer.

[Phi]: Vogue patterns usually run a 5 piece wardrobe in every issue. Could this be done in VK at least once for fun?

[trisha]: And - we have Nanette Lapore coming in Holiday too!!!!!!

[Phi]: Traveling wardrobe, office wardrobe, weekend wardrobe etc...

[tonisiny]: Agreed on five piece those are the best patterns!

[trisha]: I used to do a thing that was one sweater 4 ways - we can try it again.

[Linda Ewen]: I like the ideas of a wardrobe

[bdiane]: Do we get the HOliday issue with our subscription?

[trisha]: We research designers (7th Ave) who are doing great knits and visit them and invite them to be part of VK. Not everyone wants to but we get really excited when we have new ones.

[trisha]: No - AV sold her company and now the yarn lisence has expired and is not being renewed. I think she's basically retired now....

[trisha]: Yes - you will get the hol issue with your sub,

[Phi]: Yes, a wardrobe is gr8 b/c it may get us to get away of "all this knitting and still nothing to wear" since many of us are such projects "whores" and do a lot of unrelated projects b/c they look tempting

[EmDee]: You really need to get Jillian Lewis from PR4 to contribute a design!! Her knits were fab.

[trisha]: Wardrobe is a good idea.

[bdiane]: Thanks Trisha--Norah is who I immediately thought of when you were mentioning wardrobe

[trisha]: Will look into Jillian Lewis - we have made contact with her.

[Phi]: How about Karen Allen?

[EmDee]: YAY, love it!!!1

[trisha]: I love Norah so much. Her work is amazing. Unfortunately since she took a full time job at Berroco she has less time to do designs for us - but we always try to use her.

[trisha]: Karen only designs machine knits these days....

[bdiane]: 3rd collection now

[EmDee]: ooh, want to be 1st to know if Jillian accepts.... deal?

[trisha]: And they are truly incredible

[trisha]: ok!!!!

[bdiane]: Good design; she could eliminate scarves but oh well

[Phi]: Machine is knitting with hundred of miniature fingers, so.....

[bdiane]: I am unfamiliar with Jillian

[Holli]: Another take on wardrobe is to show us different ways we can dress withour new handknit - dress it up, dress it down, wear it with jeans, skirts, etc.

[trisha]: Our Creative Director just dropped the Nanette Lapore layouts on my desk!!!!! The dress she has done for us is amazing!!!!!!

[EmDee]: Jillian is Project Runway, season 4, one of the final 3 designers

[sheilab]: one of my all-time VK faves is a Vittaqdini raglan--on the cover in the late 80s, I think. Two colors, with a skyscraper motif. Finally made it (Berroco alpaca/wool) and love it to pieces. Brown and white.

[bdiane]: I really like Norah's work but the Berroco yarns have kept me from them; I tied to like them but alas..........

[trisha]: Good idea.

[bdiane]: Thanks Em

[trisha]: I know the one you mean - it's a great sweater - I bet you get loads of compliments when you wear it.

[Lise]: What are some of the yarn colors we'll be seeing more of this Fall?

[trisha]: I should not say it - but you can always use a different yarn.

[sheilab]: Yes, I do! And I wear it a lot. Same colors as my appaloosa!!!!

[trisha]: Colors - gray, gray, gray!!!! It's the new black.

[tonisiny]: What size does the lapore dress go up to?

[trisha]: Black and white is really strong too.

[trisha]: Not sure on size - it's not finished being written yet.

[Knittin-gimp]: bdiane-subsitute the yarns if you have a design you have to do. Alas I agree with you Berroco comment for the most part but don't let your dislike of the yarns hold you back.

[EmDee]: LOVE GRAY !!!!! Hurray!

[sheilab]: Gray is the best. Now and forwever. VK had some stunning gray sweaters about five years ago--modeled by a woman with silver gray hair!

[bdiane]: Goood black and white; herringbone only used once as was on display for a month

[Lise]: That's always a great neutral that goes with everything.

[Phi]: Back to work now, so good bye, and many thanks to Trisha for hosting this. Good weekend to everyone!

[tonisiny]: I gotta get back to work too, hooray for gray! thanks, Toni

[sheilab]: Yes. This was very fun and exiciting. Inspiring, too. I love our knitting "community."

[trisha]: There are lots of jewel tones - like emerald, sapphire and ruby. As well, look for a lots of purple. I was in Europe last week and it was everywhere. Also look for yellow and mustard, and persimmon and rust.

[bdiane]: I have brunette hair and gray is hard---and yellows

[trisha]: Thanks for coming!!!

[EmDee]: Thank you, Trish!

[bdiane]: Thanks Trish

[trisha]: Yes - try a warm grey - or a grey/blue.

[trisha]: Thank you too!

[bdiane]: yes blue always works

[trisha]: There are many shades of gray - I am sure you can find the right one - and it will work for years too.

[bdiane]: Where in Europe were you? Iam green

[trisha]: Italy - for the big yarn show.

[bdiane]: ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

[bdiane]: I lived over in Europe for years; some days I miss it

[trisha]: I bet!

[sheilab]: Is anyone offering up commercial cormo?

[trisha]: Hate to leave early - but I need to go to a meeting and someone is waving at me to hurry up! Thanks everyone for coming - this was fun!!!!!

[Lise]: I went on a VK Knitting tour with you to the UK. It was lots of fun. Will you be going on any in the future?

[cindysonnenberg]: have a great weekend

[trisha]: you too

[EmDee]: Come say Hi to the VK knitters on Ravelry.com

[trisha]: OK - will do.

[EmDee]: Ciao!

[Lise]: Thanks for the color info. Take care.

[BuffaloGuy]: thank you Trisha, keep up the great work!!
