Pattern #1, Eyelet Pullover with Peplum

Page 106. 

Pick up 52 (60, 68, 76) sts along cast-on edge. …..P 1 row, dropping extra y/o loops. Rep last 2 rows 4 times more, then rep first row only one time more. Knit next row on WS, k into each strand of double yo – creating 2 sts from each double yo. Knit 3 rows. Bind off knitwise on WS.

Lace cuff

…..Rep last 2 rows 4 times more, then rep first row only one time more. Knit next row on WS, k into each strand of double yo– creating 2 sts from each double yo. Knit 3 rows. Bind off knitwise on WS.

Note yo twice creates a double yo.

Pattern #2, Twisted Float Shrug

Pages 106-107. 

1. Schematic measurements are reversed. The dimension of the inner circle should measure 16 ¾(19 ¼, 21 ½)”, the dimension of the outer circle should measure 30(35, 40)”.

2. BACK
Rnd 2 is not a RS round. Sweater is worked with WS facing you.

The sweater is worked in the round beg with Rnd 2. The 16 sts are joined before Rnd 2, and the work is not turned.

Clarification:
The small opening formed by joining the work may be closed by gathering the sts on a piece of B or by darning with B.

Body chart only…

The symbol for K1 tbl on RS (rows 1, 2, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48 – sts 9, 10, 12 & 13) should be replaced by the symbol for St st.

Row 7 sts 16, 17 & 18 should be a 3-st RPC.

Sleeve chart only…

The blanks squares are Rev st st – p on RS, k on WS.

The squares with the vertical lines are St st – k on RS, p on WS.
