Cable band
With larger needles, cast on 44 sts. Working Cable Band chart over these 44 sts, rep rows 1—56 until piece measures approx 93 (98, 104, 111, 117, 123)”/236 (249, 264, 282, 297, 312)cm. Do not bind off. Beg at center back neck, sew band along right edge, gathering gently at curves, and placing an outer dropped-st section below the armhole to be used as buttonholes, continue until band reaches around lower edge and up left side to reach center back neck. Add or subtract rows to make fit.
